MariCare Wellness was established in 2017 by sisters and co-owners, Vernicia Edmond and Melinda Toussaint, along with college best friend, Kiara Walters. Melinda Toussaint, FNP-BC has been a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner since graduating from Bowie State University in 2012 as Magna Cum Laude and Vernicia Edmond. FNP-BC completed her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Drexel University in 2016, after practising 10 years as a Registered Nurse.
